Cancellation Policy
Every rug at The House of Looms is crafted to order, made especially for you.
Once an order is placed, our artisans begin sourcing materials and preparing the loom setup — which means we start the creative process almost immediately.
However, we understand that plans can change.
To support flexibility while protecting the integrity of our handmade process, we offer the following cancellation terms:
Order Cancellations
- You may request a cancellation within 24 hours of placing your order by emailing hello@thehouseoflooms.com with your order number.
- If your rug has not yet entered production, we will approve the cancellation and process a full refund to your original payment method within 5–7 business days.
- After 24 hours, or once your rug has entered production, we are unable to accommodate cancellations, as the rug is being made specifically for you.
Custom Orders
All custom or personalized rugs (including those with unique sizes, colors, or designs) are non-cancellable and non-refundable once confirmed.
These pieces are created exclusively for you and cannot be resold or repurposed.
Pre-Orders & Backorders
If you’ve placed a pre-order or backorder for an upcoming collection, you may cancel it any time before production begins by contacting us at hello@thehouseoflooms.com.
Once the rug enters production, the same cancellation rules apply as above.
Refund Process
Approved cancellations are refunded to the original mode of payment (credit/debit card, PayPal, UPI, Apple Pay, or Google Pay).
Refunds typically reflect within 5–7 business days, depending on your payment provider.
